Siriuskogl:

A moderately difficult, short hike. There are 2 ways to the Siruskogl from Villa Traun. A short steep path or a slightly longer and not so steep path. There is a very good restaurant and a viewing tower at the summit. For the little ones there is a playground and lots of animals to pet.

Variant 1. short and steep

Variant 2. a little longer but flatter

Jainzen:

The Jainzen mountain is a striking feature of the picturesque town of Bad Ischl. With a height of around 831 meters, the Jainzen rises majestically above the surrounding area and offers a breathtaking panoramic view of Lake Wolfgang, Lake Hallstättersee and of course Bad Ischl.

Around the Nussensee

The Nussensee is an idyllic mountain lake at the foot of the Katrin. It is a pressurized water lake and is therefore fed by rainfall. It can happen during dry months that it loses a lot of water.

On hot days it offers cool refreshment.

Jainzen circular route:

A particularly popular route is the “Jainzen circular route”. This circular route leads through dense forests, past clear streams and offers spectacular views of the surrounding peaks. There are also benches and rest areas along the way where you can take a break and enjoy the peace and beauty of nature.

Fürberg circular route

This circular route is particularly beautiful. Many no coves with lots of hidden places to sit, lie down or swing. A little journey of discovery for big and small children. At the beginning there is the ox cross and at the end there is the wedding cross and the Falkenstein wall. There are plenty of opportunities for swimming and cliff jumping (our favorite).
